Born in January 2025, the Madurai Reading Club began with a simple belief — that in a city as ancient and intellectually rich as Madurai, there was a hunger for deeper conversation. For books that challenge. For ideas that linger.
What started as a small gathering of curious minds has grown into a vibrant community of readers who meet, discuss, debate, and discover — one book at a time.

Every alternate Sunday, we gather for rich, layered conversation — not summaries, but explorations.
Our discussions are designed to go beyond the surface. We explore themes, dissect ideas, share personal reflections, and challenge each other's readings with curiosity — not debate.
Sessions are alive and interactive — with videos that bring context, Kahoot quizzes that spark friendly competition, and live polls that capture the room's pulse.
After an hour of deep discussion, we unwind over networking and high tea — because the best conversations often happen in the in-between moments.
And every attendee leaves with something tangible: a beautiful, custom-designed bookmark — a small piece of the session to carry home.
